If you can’t raid your grandma’s jewellery box or a stately vault, fear not! Our designers and mastercraftsmen have been heavily influenced by vintage inspired heirloom jewellery to produce our current tiara collection.
Tiaras have been around for centuries and are said to have evolved from the golden wreaths worn by Greek and Roman athletes. In the 17th and 18th centuries women wore them as a display of wealth, as well as a transitional marker from bride to wife.
Tiaras have, in the past few years, enjoyed a resurgence of interest; partly attributed to recent royal weddings, including those of the Duchess of Cambridge, the Duchess of Sussex, Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, Lady Gabriella Windsor, model Alana Bunte and Countess Olympia d’Arco-Zinneberg. Boxsets such as Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey and The Crown have also played their part.
Unlike the tiaras worn in these circles which are highly prestigious both for their monetary and historic value, we offer a light-hearted collection, which is light in weight and historic baggage (and therefore non headache-inducing).
Our Fringe Tiara is a popular favourite with brides opting for a chic classic look. It is inspired by countless fringe tiaras found in Royal Jewellery Collections the world over.
The Foliage Tiara and the Wild Meadow Tiara have proved to be a hit with brides opting for a romantic vibe, while the Ocean Spray Tiara tends to be preferred by brides who are looking for something more modern and less traditional.
Our newly introduced Wheat Sheaf Tiara is very popular with boho brides going for a neo-classical look. Like the Fringe Tiara it is also found in many important collections including the Hesse Royal Family, the Russian Imperial Family and the Dutch Royal Family amongst others.
We hope that you enjoy our fun, frivolous light-hearted collection and that you will choose to wear one on your wedding day or other fabulous occasion soon!
