1. Colour: Most lace veils come in white, ivory or cream. If you are purchasing a lace veil from www.blueribbonsandlace.co.uk, we recommend ordering our swatch card and holding it against your dress in natural light.

2. Length: There are three standard veil lengths:

Cathedral-300cm; which is truly iconic and the most formal. You will need assistance from your bridesmaids for this veil.

Chapel-250cm; this is less formal than the cathedral, but still trailing on the floor or wedding train.

Floor-200cm; this length falls to the floor, and although on the short side, it is a classically elegant choice.

3. Use the service of our free online wedding stylist or concierge service if you are unsure. Our experienced stylist will help you choose a veil that complements your wedding dress; and will give you advice on choosing, buying and wearing a veil.

4. Order in advance: we recommend ordering your veil sooner rather than later to ensure that you will receive it in plenty of time. Our lace veils usually ship within 4-8 weeks. Rush orders- we accept rush orders for an additional fee, depending on the timeframe required. Contact us and we will do our best to meet your deadline.

5. Decide on how you will be wearing your veil: most hairstyles work well with a veil, including half-up half-down, up-dos and more. You can also decide up to which point in the wedding ceremony you will be wearing the veil, and what photos you want to be taken of you wearing it.
